We promote dialogue between all actors involved in public affairs and try to enhance citizens' participation in decision-making. The organization focuses on organisation of conferences, seminars, training, meetings, professional courses, internships and other educational activities including lectures; conducting public opinion surveys and other research; providing cultural, social and educational activities; publishing, educational and training activities including publishing periodical and non-periodical publications and promotional materials etc. Civipolis was founded by academics and alumni of the Department of Politics and European Studies at the Palacký University in Olomouc.
It is the mission of Republikon to articulate new ideas, to find ways of making the values of liberal democracy, human rights and tolerance more popular and to contribute to any future coalition between parties, civil organisations and NGOs critical of the authoritarian tendencies visible in Hungary. Our experts are professionals in political science, economy, sociology, international relations, education and communication and are dedicated to work for the aims of the Institute - some of them doing it also as active members of civil organisations. The organisation is involved in policy researches and it is focusing on initiating projects that contribute to a more open, democratic and free society.
It realizes a mission of developing and promoting artistic and literary creation, and European cultural and intellectual exchange. It reaches statutory objectives by organizing i.e. summer schools, seminars, workshops, conferences, literary programmes. At the base of all programmes lies the idea of meetings of representatives from various fields of science and culture from all over Europe. Through exchange of ideas and thoughts, they can explore mutual stimuli for creative work and advocate pluralism and dialogue in public life. Villa Decius programmes are also addressed to managers and entrepreneurs working at the point of contact between different cultures.
BPI’s team is made up of sociologists, political scientists, and legal scholars. The team is capable to engage in interdisciplinary research and public-policy consultancy that is critical to the study of previously complex themes. BPI´s range of activities cover publication activities, work on expert standpoints and public-policy materials, consultancy activities and organization of seminars, conferences, and workshops.
Bratislava Policy Institute (BPI) is a new policy-oriented institution created by skilful policy analysts having background all in political science, sociology, and legal science. expand in coming months. There are 4 people operating at the BPI at the moment and there are numerous interns cooperating on BPI´s projects. Bratislava Policy Institute is a civic organization that is governed by 5 members´ Executive Board that is supreme body of the organization.
