With the fast approaching European parliament election, a new European Commission to be formed and upcoming Brexit, 2019 will be a key year. There are still many difficult challenges ahead of us which need to be resolved including migration, opportunities for the youth, dangerous Euroscepticism, populism, digital transformation, sustainability, and many others.

Slovakia and Slovaks are technically part of the Europe. But do we feel like European citizens? What are our hopes, concerns, and visions for the future of Europe? What place should Slovakia hold in Europe? What should Slovaks do to ensure that our ongoing constituency in the European Union is our best choice?
