Speaker Series: About the Corruption in Zimbabwe and Slovakia

According to the world ranking of the perception of corruption by Transparency International, Slovakia was in 57th place last year, compared to 2017 it went down by 3 positions, which is the worst position in Slovakia since 2013.

Do you think that only in Slovakia we are sensitive to corruption, nepotism and mafia? Come and hear the situation in Zimbabwe from an academic who had to leave Zimbabwe to draw attention to the missteps of the regime created by Robert Mugab and now works as a “Scholar at risk” in the Netherlands. The topic of our discussion is “Deconstructing the relationship between corruption and human rights and the risk of thereof”.

Speakers

Prosper S. Maguchu, guest researcher at University of Groningen – Faculty of Law University of Groningen – Faculty of Law
