Special Evening of Michal Vašečka now reacts on the launch of the national section Scholars at Risk, which is the first initiative of this kind in Central Europe. Discussion will be focusing on the freedom in all its variations and specific, with the focus on academic, creative and artistic freedom. Special Evening of Michal Vašečka is accompanying event to Freedom Festival. The invitation was accepted by Dr. Srirak Pliplat, executive director of Freemuse, global leading organization defending freedom of opinion and expression through art and music.  He devotes his energy to defend and protect human rights defenders, artists and musicians at risks through research, policies, advocacy, working in partnership with local and international partners.  Joyce Pisarello is director of Membership University Relations at Scholars at Risk. Her work involves managing network relationships and cooperating with member institution to promote SAR Network globally.

Everything will be devoted towards the launch of SAR Section Slovakia.
