Fake News in the Region – The Impact of Fake News to Eastern-Central European countries

„Fake News in the Region – The Impact of Fake News to Eastern-Central European countries” – a conference organized by Republikon, supported by Friedrich Naumann Stiftung für die Freiheit

The main topic of our conference, as the title remarks, will be the emergence of fake news in East-Central Europe, focusing on how significant the influence of fake news is in the politics, and in elections. In the first panel, international experts from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary will talk about the effects of fake news in the V4 countries and its impacts on recent and forthcoming elections. In the second panel Hungarian political analysts will discuss the situation of Hungarian media and politics, in consideration of the troubles caused by fake news and their possible solutions.
