Slovakia, being culturally homogeneous and not a traditional destination for migrants, has primarily been a country of emigration. However, hate speech and hate crimes, particularly in the online sphere, are prevalent due to a lack of legislative support. Reported cases are minimal, and those working in NGOs or with minorities often face violent and aggressive behavior. The training aims to enhance the intercultural competences of youth workers, equipping them with methods and tools to prevent and address both online and offline hate speech and hate crimes, particularly targeting minorities such as Roma, refugees, and migrant youth.
